Aurora Borealis
Last week we had several opportunities to marvel at Northern Lights. We had a couple of cold and almost cloudless nights which set the stage for that fantastic play of nature. On Tuesday night, we (Judith, Sarah, Markus and me) went to the wide sports field next to Nydalasjön where we enjoyed the illuminated sky. Of course I tried to make some pictures:
On the way back we met Timo and Christoph, who did much better pics than I did. He was kind enough to let me put some of his fruits online. Thank you, Christoph!

Schon wieder Neid, und keinerlei Schadenfreude. Hart aber wahr!
Wow! So gute Nordlichter hab ich während meiner Zeit in Umea leider nicht gesehen…oder hat da jemand ein bisschen photogeshopt?
jaaaaa, da staunt ihr! natürlich isn bisserl dran rumgedreht (die üblichen verdächtigen: auto-kontrast/-sättigung/-…), aber immer nur auf das ganze bild angewendet, nie auf einzelne teile. also “in wirklich” sah das schon so geil aus.
christophs wunderbare bilder leben halt von der entsprechend längeren belichtungszeit und dem besseren stativ. alles eine frage der ausrüstung…
